Hey! Lend an Ear

I am  a 4th year Communications student at Carleton, documenting the experimental process of learning sound design.

I currently live in my hometown of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Post graduation I will be travelling through Europe, Africa and Asia full time for a few years and plan on documenting my travels through different forms of media. Eventually I would love to operate my own social media management firm. 

 

I started experimenting with sound design for my digital media production course. I have always had an interest in media management and although I have gravitated toward social media and video production primarily, it has been fascinating to take a closer look at the specifics of audio recordings as a medium.

 

Taking a digital media production course has definitely been a learning curve but, it's interesting to take a more hand on approach in my degree. The work on this website will be no where near to perfect, but you can't learn a new skill without a bit of practice! Welcome to my journey.
